![]() I'm not familiar with that format other than to know it's surfaces and not solids. HPZ400 Workstation, Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, NVidia Quatro 2000 It's so rare to get models from our customers, and when we do they tend to come as IGES files which generally don't cause any issue and can be loaded right into Fcam. We do not have STEP import enabled in FeatureCAM otherwise this wouldn't be an issue. No errors, no failure to import, just a loading bar, then nothing but a blank piece of stock. It just shows a blank, default workspace. ![]() No matter how I go about converting it in Inventor, from simply opening and saving a copy as an IPT, to selecting various import properties on surface stitching/solid creation, etc, to deriving a solid component from any of the previous methods (which all appear to work as far as Inventor is concerned) yield a file that when opened in FeatureCAM, no data is recognized. In the past, I've been able to convert customer STEP files into usable models with Inventor, but I'm having trouble with this one. We use Autocad Inventor for modeling and FeatureCAM for programming.
